Tai Salih

From an early age Tai has been interested in serving and making a positive change in the world. She left her native war torn country as a refugee and refusing to become another child bride she pushed herself to becoming the first female in her family to earn a post-secondary degree at York University.  But it wasn’t until one cold and snowy day in February 2009 that Tai was first introduced to hot yoga and truly began her journey!

It was love at first savasana for Tai, the heat, the sweat, and the challenging postures got her hooked. But the more she practiced the more yoga became a therapeutic experience that impacted her life in ways she never expected. Having seen the benefits she personally experienced her hot yoga hobby turned into a passion.

Following her heart she decided that the yogic path was a journey she wanted to take. In June 2012 she took and successfully completed the Moksha Yoga teacher training program in Victoria, BC. This experienced allowed Tai to be introduced to herself in a way she never imagined, finding a better sense of being complete. Tai is also trained in moksha flow, ashtanga flow, trauma sensitive yoga, restorative, yin, prenatal, mindfulness, pranayama, and is currently completing her certification as a post rehabilitation specialist.
